Mural

In Grade 9, I was asked to participate in a mural for the Richmond Green Public Library. Titled “Kwiinwining — In the Community”, this project commemorated the city of Richmond Hill’s 150th birthday and celebrated Indigenous Art. I worked alongside Ojibwe artist Keith Gattie and several other high school students to create a series of paintings permanently displayed at the library, with each painting representing our own view on the importance of community.
